Job Description:
Full job descriptionAn opportunity for an established Residential Property Solicitor or Conveyancer to take on a senior role within a growing team, handling a varied caseload of high-value and complex residential property matters while playing a key part in developing the local practice.

This position would suit someone with a strong presence in the Norwich property market, an existing network of contacts and the ambition to help drive further growth. You’ll work with a broad client base, from high-net-worth individuals to corporate entities, with the opportunity to develop relationships with premium estate agents and property professionals.

The role will involve:

*Managing a varied caseload of residential property transactions, including complex and high-value freehold and leasehold sales, purchases and remortgages.

*Advising high-net-worth individuals and corporate clients on residential real estate matters.

*Handling mainstream residential conveyancing work to support the wider team.

*Developing relationships with local estate agents, property finders and other professional contacts.

*Supporting and mentoring junior team members, providing technical guidance where required.

*Contributing to the Norwich team’s business development strategy and identifying opportunities to grow the practice.

*Exploring new areas of work and opportunities to diversify the residential property offering.

About you

You’ll be a qualified Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive with practising rights or Licensed Conveyancer with at least 6 years’ relevant experience, ideally gained within a strong regional or City firm.

You’ll have a proven track record handling complex and high-value residential property transactions, alongside the confidence and commercial awareness to develop new business and strengthen existing relationships.

An established presence in the Norwich market, an existing client following or a strong network of local contacts would be particularly advantageous. You’ll also be comfortable supporting more junior colleagues and taking an active role in the continued development of the team.

The firm is forward-thinking in its approach to technology, so an interest in innovation and the practical application of AI within legal services would be welcomed.

What’s on offer?

*Competitive salary, dependent on experience and following.

*Hybrid working, with a 60% office / 40% home-working split.

*25 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays, with additional long-service leave.

*Private medical insurance through BUPA, subject to probation.

*Profit share and individual performance bonus schemes.

*Pension contributions, life assurance and permanent health insurance.

*Enhanced maternity and paternity benefits.

*Subsidised gym membership and electric vehicle scheme.

*Dedicated paid charity day and a range of other employee benefits.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced residential property professional to take on a visible role within an established regional practice, with the scope to influence its future direction and play a significant part in its continued growth.
