Full job descriptionWe are seeking an energetic, hardworking, warm native Swedish-speaking Nanny to join a welcoming international family, primarily caring for their newborn baby girl, born in September 2026.
The family has two older boys, who attend school full-time and have their own dedicated nanny, but help will be needed with them at times. The successful candidate’s primary responsibility will therefore be the baby, allowing them to focus on her individual needs, routines and development.
The family is keen to find a native Swedish speaker who can communicate naturally with the baby in Swedish.
This is a full-time position involving international travel. The family would prefer a live-in nanny, but live-out might be considered if local enough.
Responsibilities
*Providing attentive, loving and developmentally appropriate care for the baby.
*Establishing and maintaining healthy feeding, sleeping and daily routines as the baby grows.
*Supporting the baby’s physical, emotional and cognitive development through age-appropriate activities, sensory play and interaction.
*Speaking Swedish consistently with the baby to encourage natural language development.
*Managing all nursery duties, including bottles, laundry, organisation of the baby’s belongings and keeping nursery areas tidy.
*Preparing age-appropriate meals.
*Accompanying the family on international trips and ensuring continuity of care and routines while travelling.
*Adapting to the family’s changing needs as the baby grows.
Candidate Requirements
*Native Swedish speaker.
*Experience caring for children in private households.
*Warm, affectionate, patient and genuinely passionate about working with babies and young children.
*Confident working independently while maintaining excellent communication with parents and members of staff.
*Flexible, adaptable and comfortable with global travel.
*Organised, proactive and able to anticipate the needs of a busy family.
*Discreet, professional and respectful of family privacy.

Important details
Location: London, Fitzrovia
Salary: Starting at £50K GPA, depending on experience and qualifications
Start Date: First week of December (trial at the end of November)
Accommodation: Live-out or Live-in (private accommodation provided)
Schedule: In London, Monday to Friday, 6.30 am to 6.30 pm (one-hour lunch break). When travelling, 6 days per week when necessary.
Child: Baby girl, born at the end of September 2026
Requirements: Swedish speakers only with the right to work in the UK
