JOB OVERVIEW
Take on a key delivery opportunity with a specialist structural steelwork business, where the Site Manager will help bring allocated projects safely and efficiently through on-site delivery.
The Site Manager will coordinate site operatives and subcontractors, work closely with clients and project teams, and keep progress aligned with agreed programmes and quality standards.
Working on allocated projects across the UK, the Site Manager will combine practical site leadership with a strong health and safety focus, clear communication and effective problem-solving.


DUTIES
Your duties as the Site Manager include:
*Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure site activities meet current health and safety legislation, company policies and site procedures
*Site Management and Coordination: Take responsibility for day-to-day on-site activities across allocated structural steelwork projects
*Programme and Progress Monitoring: Monitor progress against agreed programmes, identify potential delays or issues and take appropriate corrective action
*Subcontractor Coordination: Coordinate and oversee subcontractors to ensure activities meet project requirements
*Client Liaison and Delivery: Maintain effective communication with clients and project teams to support smooth project delivery


CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
ESSENTIAL
*Experience of structural steelwork erection, including lining and levelling
*Proven health and safety experience
*Appropriate CSCS card
*Willingness to travel to sites across the UK
DESIRABLE
*Recognised health and safety qualification such as the CITB-approved Site Managers Safety Training Scheme
*Appropriate plant operator certification such as a MEWP ticket
*Current first aid certificate
