Location: Warrington
Pay: £15.31 per hour (days) / £18.75 per hour (nights)
Innova Search & Selection is recruiting for an experienced Press Brake Setter / Operator to join a manufacturing business based in Warrington.
This is an opportunity to join an established manufacturing environment, producing quality components to customer specifications using press brake machinery.
The business is open to candidates with experience using different makes and models of press brake machinery. Experience on AMADA machines would be beneficial, but experience on comparable equipment will also be considered.
The Role
*Setting and operating CNC press brake machinery.
*Selecting and fitting the appropriate tooling for each job.
*Adjusting machine programmes and settings to achieve accurate bends.
*Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
*Working with different materials and thicknesses.
*Checking finished components to ensure they meet required quality standards.
*Carrying out routine machine checks and basic maintenance.
*Maintaining a safe, tidy and efficient working environment.
*Meeting production targets and maintaining quality standards.
The Ideal Candidate
*Previous experience operating CNC press brake machinery.
*Setting experience, including tooling selection and machine adjustments.
*Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
*Understanding of bending processes, materials and tolerances.
*Good attention to detail and a quality-focused approach.
*Able to work independently and as part of a production team.
*Experience with AMADA press brakes would be advantageous, although candidates with experience on other comparable CNC press brake machines are encouraged to apply.
Shift Patterns
Permanent Days – £15.31 per hour
Monday to Thursday: 7am – 4pm
Friday: 7am – 12pm
Permanent Nights – £18.75 per hour
Monday to Wednesday: 4pm – 2:30am
Thursday: 4pm – 1:30am
No weekend working. Both shifts are permanent, with no rotation.
