A well-established and growing accountancy practice in Chelmsford is seeking a Client Manager to join its ambitious team. This is an exciting opportunity for an ACA or ACCA qualified professional looking to manage a diverse portfolio of clients while playing a key role in the continued growth of the firm.
The Role
As Client Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of businesses and acting as their trusted advisor, ensuring the highest standards of service are delivered.
Key responsibilities include:
*Managing a portfolio of limited companies, partnerships and sole traders
*Reviewing statutory accounts, management accounts and tax returns
*Building and maintaining strong client relationships
*Acting as the main point of contact for client queries and business advice
*Identifying opportunities to provide additional services and add value to clients
*Reviewing work prepared by junior team members and providing mentorship
*Managing deadlines and ensuring compliance requirements are met
*Assisting Directors and Partners with portfolio development and practice growth
About You
To be considered for this opportunity, you will have:
*Previous experience working within an accountancy practice
*ACA or ACCA qualification, or be qualified by experience
*Experience managing a client portfolio
*Strong knowledge of accounts, tax and compliance requirements
*Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
*Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail
*A commercial mindset with the ability to identify client opportunities
