Our client, a well-established and growing accountancy practice in Chelmsford, is seeking an ambitious Audit Semi Senior to join their expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with audit experience who is looking to broaden their technical knowledge, work with a diverse client portfolio, and continue progressing towards a professional qualification.
The Role
As an Audit Semi Senior, you will work closely with managers and seniors, assisting with the delivery of audit assignments for a wide range of clients across various sectors.
Key responsibilities will include:
*Assisting in the planning and completion of audits from fieldwork through to completion
*Preparing audit files and supporting documentation
*Drafting statutory accounts and financial statements
*Identifying and communicating audit findings
*Liaising directly with clients and building strong professional relationships
*Assisting with corporation tax and accounts preparation assignments where required
*Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team
About You
To be considered for this position, you will have:
*Previous experience within an accountancy practice
*Exposure to audit assignments and audit fieldwork
*AAT qualified or currently studying ACA/ACCA
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills
*Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities
*A proactive approach and desire to develop your career within audit and accounts
