Full job descriptionMorson is partnering with a leading aerospace manufacturer to recruit a Quality Inspector for our team based at RAF Brize Norton, Oxfordshire.
Applicants must be eligible to obtain UK Security Clearance (SC).
In this role, you will collaborate closely with the logistics team and report directly to the Logistics Manager. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure all quality control checkpoints are strictly followed before any item is placed into our P145 storage system.
You will also work closely with our Safety & Compliance and Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) teams to uphold the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
*Perform receipt and evaluation inspections of complex components and assemblies in accordance with established inspection plans
*Ensure full compliance with all relevant quality procedures, airworthiness control plans, and quality management system standards
*Utilise aerospace expertise to inspect finished products, confirming conformity with MAA, FAA, and EASA Part 145 regulations, as well as customer specifications
*Maintain detailed material batch and manufacturer traceability records
*Issue Discrepancy Reports and assist in resolving customer complaints and supplier quality concerns
*Document and report any non-conformance incidents related to business operations
*Represent the Quality Management Department at internal meetings, working groups, and modification programmes
