You will be joining a growing international business based in Nottingham, which is continuing to develop and expand its UK finance function. Based in impressive, modern new offices, the business offers an exciting environment for someone looking to join a finance team at a time of continued growth and development.

Your new role
As a German Speaking Accounts Payable Assistant, you will join the Accounts Payable function and provide support across both UK and European businesses.
Your responsibilities will include:
*Processing supplier invoices accurately and efficiently
*Supporting Accounts Payable activities across UK and European entities
*Dealing with supplier queries and resolving invoice discrepancies
*Liaising with German-speaking suppliers and internal stakeholders
*Reconciling supplier accounts and statements
*Supporting payment processes
*Maintaining accurate AP records
*Working closely with colleagues across the wider finance team
This is a great opportunity to join an expanding finance function with increasing responsibility across its European operations.

What you’ll need to succeed
You will ideally have previous experience within Accounts Payable, Purchase Ledger or a similar transactional finance position.Most importantly, you will need to be fluent in German and English, with the confidence to communicate professionally with German-speaking suppliers and stakeholders.You will be organised, accurate and comfortable working in a busy finance environment, with strong communication skills and good attention to detail.
