*Oversee daily supply chain activities to help maintain the flow of goods across the operation.
*Plan supply requirements and coordinate activity to meet business demand.
*Work closely with procurement and supply chain colleagues to keep plans aligned.
*Monitor stock movement and availability to help prevent disruption to supply.
*Review supply chain performance and address day-to-day issues in a timely way.
*Maintain accurate supply chain information to support clear planning and decision-making.
*Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure goods are delivered in line with agreed plans.
*Identify practical improvements to supply chain processes and ways of working.
Profile
A successful ’Supply Chain Manager’ should have:
*Experience managing supply chain activities.
*Strong knowledge of supply planning, stock management and goods movement.
*Ability to coordinate supply requirements with procurement and operational teams.
*Confidence reviewing supply information and using it to support planning decisions.
*Experience resolving supply issues while keeping day-to-day activity on track.
*Ability to identify and implement practical process improvements.
