Job Description:
We are looking for Warehouse Operative and a picker and packer within a busy warehouse.

Responsibilities and functions
*Ensure a safe and hygienic workplace.
*Ensure that all tools and equipment breakdowns are reported timeously.
*All machinery and equipment must be stored in their designated storage bays, to avoid risks and accidents.
*Attain targets and meet deadlines to contribute successfully to the team.
*Assist the warehouse teams to achieve targets.
*Meet key performance indicators.
*Prepare, load, label and ship orders.
*Examine all received supplies for defects and damages.
*Load and offload supplies from incoming delivery vehicles, containers or boxes.
*Sort and store supply timeously, to reduce stock damages.
*Keep an accurate inventory log for all incoming and outgoing supplies.
*Thoroughly assess all incoming supplies for shortages, damages or any deficiencies.
*Report any factors that will impact the warehouse operations.
*Utilising all FLT’s in a safe manner in line with H & S policy
*Ensuring that all outbound stock is checked, loaded accurately and despatched on the system
*Undertaking PI checks as directed by management
*Maintaining all stock in an acceptable condition and ensure stock is placed in racking safely
*Complying with Health & Safety procedures at all times
*Undertaking any other duties which may be required to assist the needs of the business as directed by management
Skills and experience required for Reach Truck FLT Driver:


*Experience of using an automated warehouse management system and scanners etc.
*Experience of using Reach trucks with extending mast
*Experience of using double deep racking
