Manchester | Hybrid | Permanent
£40,000 plus performance bonus of up to 10%

Are you a successful recruiter who enjoys helping others develop? Perhaps you’ve already moved into recruitment L&D and are looking to build your coaching experience further.
Macmillan Davies is recruiting an L&D Partner - Talent Development to help recruitment consultants strengthen their skills and improve their performance.
You’ll work closely with allocated teams, combining practical training with individual coaching. With established learning materials and support available, you’ll have the opportunity to develop your own capability while making a visible difference to others.

The role
*Build relationships with consultants and managers to understand development needs.
*Deliver recruitment training and provide practical support through call reviews, observation and feedback.
*Coach individuals to improve their approach, overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
*Support new recruiters through a structured development programme, taking responsibility for their daily direction, progress reviews and one-to-ones.
*Facilitate induction and group training sessions.
*Use performance data and feedback to assess the impact of learning.
*Contribute ideas to improve development content and delivery.

About you
Agency recruitment experience is essential. You’ll bring a successful track record and a clear motivation to build a career in developing others.
You may already work in recruitment training or L&D, or have gained informal experience mentoring colleagues alongside your recruitment responsibilities. Previous experience in a dedicated L&D role is welcome, but isn’t essential.
Contract recruitment experience would be particularly useful, alongside:
*A professional, considered approach to coaching and feedback.
*The credibility to work with both new and experienced consultants.
*Strong communication skills and the ability to explain practical techniques clearly.
*An analytical mindset and an interest in how development improves commercial performance.
*Openness to learning, feedback and new approaches.

The role offers hybrid working, with three days in the Manchester office and two days from home, alongside support to develop your training and coaching skills.
