Job Description:
One of our popular secondary schools are seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to students in a classroom setting. The role will involve working closely with teachers and other support staff to ensure that students receive the necessary support to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing support to students in a classroom setting
* Assisting teachers with planning and delivering lessons
* Monitoring student progress and providing feedback to teachers
* Liaising with parents and other professionals as required
* Maintaining accurate records of student progress and support provided
Requirements:
* Experience working with students in a classroom setting
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Good organisational and time management skills
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
