A client of ours, a Top 20 firm based in central London is keen to grow their Media team by recruiting for an Audit Manager to work on a number of their high profile clients, including all of the major Hollywood studios as well as many independent film and TV production companies. The firm also manages a number of video game developers in the UK and US.
You will have responsibility for managing a team and will work closely with the senior members of the team to help shape the direction of the firm.
Future progression is clear - the client will put in challenging but achievable targets for you to be promoted to Senior Manager level.
Details of the role
* Responsible for managing a wide range of clients
* Being the initial point of contact, delivering high-quality accounts preparation, audit and compliance services
* Planning, budgetary control, file review, resolution of significant issues with Partner and client, and delivery of case to Partner
* Budgeting and invoicing clients
* Staff management and daily management responsibilities
* Production cost audits
* Preparation and audit of funding applications and reports
What you’ll need to succeed
* You should be fully qualified, either ACA/ACCA or equivalent
* You will need to be outgoing and resilient - dealing with Producers
* Strong technical knowledge of accounting and audit principles
* Experience of managing a portfolio of clients
* Understanding of IFRS and FRS 102
* Ideally experience of using CCH (Not essential)
