First Achieve’s Engineering Division have an excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Assembly Fitter to join an established and growing company in the North/East Greater Glasgow region. Our client is an international manufacturer, dedicated to Marine products world-wide.
What’s on Offer:
* Temp (probation) to perm after 12 weeks
* Paying £15 per hour while under temp (probation) through agency
* Paying circa £13.50 per hour once permanent
* 39hr work week
* 4.5 day work week
* 7am to 4pm Mon to Thurs and 7am to 12pm Fri
* OT 1.5x
This role will report directly to the Warehouse Manager and you will be expected to work as part of a collaborative team of operatives in ensuring the efficient and continual, management and organisation, of products on the premise.
Duties will involve the following:
* assembly of mechanical components on a workbench
* reading design and assembly drawings
* making use of power tool
Essential skills, experience and knowledge:
The successful candidate must have:
* experience of mechanical assembly
* experience of reading engineering drawings
