Job Description:
An exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Supervisor to work for a leading FM service provider on a commercial building in the City of, London. Working for a highly esteemed maintenance provider, this a fantastic opportunity for an Engineer who is looking to get into Contract Management, as the position will be working closely with the Contract Manager on site.

You will be supervising a team of 4 engineers whilst carrying out hands-on maintenance as well as standing in for the Contract Manager and completing all necessary paperwork for the contract. You will be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance on electrical, mechanical, HVAC and associated systems, also carrying out remedial works and emergency response on site.

You will be Electrically qualified holding City and Guilds / NVQ qualifications whilst also being multi skilled with good all round building services maintenance knowledge.

Duties


* PPMs & Reactive maintenance
* Single and Three Phase Power, Motors, Generators (on/off load tests), UPS, LV/HV switching, Shutdowns, Switchgear, Motors, Emergency Lighting, Fire Alarm Test, AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, Sprinkler Systems, Pumps, Belts, Bearings, Seals, BMS Operation
* Carry out isolation of plant and systems in accordance with safety requirements.
* Ensure corrective/repair works are carried out in accordance with regulations.
* Endorse safe working practices, quality standards conformity and best practice methods.
* Organising subcontractors
* Completing logbooks and RAMS
* Reports
* Conducting client meetings
* Ensuring the account manager is kept up to date on a regular basis
* Liaising with client representatives in respect of corrective repair works.
* Permits to work
* Raise and close jobs on PDA’s as necessary.

Requirements


* City & Guilds / NVQ (or equivalent) qualification in Electrical Installations
* Ability to lead a days engineering maintenance team
* Building Services Maintenance experience
* Career driven and motivated
* Polite and personable
