Job Description:
Adele Carr Financial Recruitment is partnering with a growing SME in Liverpool who are keen to appoint a Finance Officer on a full time, permanent basis.
The ideal applicant will be keen to progress and seeking a new job in a growing industry. This role has come up as a result of new business wins and financial growth within the business.
You will be working autonomously at times, and be skilled in a number of administrative disciplines to ensure an
efficient and professional service is provided to all stakeholders.
Knowledge of multiple-currency bank reconciliations is essential for this role; however, training will be given.
What you’ll be doing:
* Daily multiple-currency bank reconciliations
* Auditing and processing employee expense claims
* Company credit card management
* Assisting with year-end audit requirements
* Reconciling and servicing key suppliers
* Monthly sales analysis
* Purchase ledger assistance
* Holiday cover for other duties within the Finance function
* Key data logging
* Producing ad-hoc analysis and reports as required
What you’ll need for the role:
* Proven track record of working in a comparable role
* Demonstrable experience of working within an office environment
* IT literate with the ability to use a range of software packages including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
* Graduate level with a desire to train as an Accountant
* Proactive individual, willing to learn and develop
* Excellent organisational, time management and communication skills
* Ability to develop good working relationships with colleagues, customers and business contacts alike
* Methodical, with strong attention to detail
