Lead Software Engineer
The Role
* Working within the R&D team and taking the lead of software projects
* Designing, implementing and maintaining software in C for new and existing products
* Working closely along-side the electronic and mechanical team on technical reviews, feasibility studies.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
* Degree Educated in software engineering / computer science discipline
* Strong knowledge and experience working with Embedded C for applications / products
* Experience building software for Windows and WinCE or realtime operating systems
* Excellent knowledge of real-time and concurrent principles, networked devices and distributed processes

Desirable Experience
* Experience of electronics control/interfacing motors/sensors etc
* Knowledge of Linux OS
* Expereince leading projects and consulting with clients/stakeholders
