Description
Reporting into the Accounts Payable Manager, the key duties for the Accounts Payable Clerk are:
* Process accounts payable transactions
* Maintain accurate financial records
* Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments
* Verify discrepancies and resolve client billing issues
* Organise invoices and expense reports
* Perform monthly reconciliations
* Assist with month-end closing
* Participate in financial audits
* Ad hoc duties
Profile
A successful Accounts Payable Clerk should have:e
* Proficient knowledge in accounts payable- preferably experience dealing with high volume invoice processing
* Ability to handle sensitive, complex and confidential information
* Strong numerical skills
* Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
* Understanding of basic accounting principles
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
