Interim Senior Finance Manager | PE-Backed SaaS Scale-Up | Remote
The Client
Harmonic are delighted to working exclusively with a fast scaling, PE Backed SaaS business who are disrupting their market. Our client is looking for a Finance Manager/Financial Controller to start immediately and support their finance team as they come into a period of high workload. Our client has raised in excess of £150m, initially through Venture Capital but more recently through Private Equity.
Backed by an elite Private Equity firm, our clients B2B software is applicable across all industries and their platform offers a wide range of tools and services. Their current clients include market leaders and there is still significant room for expansion. With revenue exceeding £50m and 20% YOY growth, they have focused heavily on introducing metrics and KPI’s to better track their recurring revenue.
The Role
Working with their Financial Controller and Head of Commercial Finance, the successful candidate will be tasked with assisting with the migration to NetSuite, along with supporting on the current audit. The candidate will also need to be commercially astute, able to take on ad-hoc financial analysis tasks.
Responsibilities
* Assisting with the migration to NetSuite, including data migration and system testing.
* Responsible for supporting on the successful delivery of the audit.
* Suggest process improvements that could be to increase efficiency.
* Oversee VAT returns.
* Assist the Head of commercial finance with ad-hoc analysis.
* Assist preparation of R&D tax claim calculations.
* Assist the wider finance team with ad-hoc projects.
* Prepare monthly management accounts accurately.
Essential Experience
* 6 years of experience.
* Experience with a system migration, preferably NetSuite (but not essential).
* Thrives in a dynamic and fast paced work environment.
* Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
* Commercially astute with strong knowledge across all areas of finance.
* Advanced Excel skills.
* Incredibly ambitious with a desire to continue learning.
* Excited by start-ups / scale-ups.
* Immediately Available or on short notice
Bonus Experience
* Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
* Experience in a fast growth SaaS Scale-Up (VC or PE backed)
* Experience in a growing, multi-currency group.
Day rate: £350- £400 per day (Outside IR35)
Location: London (Hybrid)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 6 Months (potential to be extended)
