Senior Finance Officer | £27,000 - £29,000| Permanent| Greater Manchester

Castlefield Recruitment are working with an extremely reputable organisation based in the Greater Manchester region, who are looking to recruit a Senior Finance Officer/Assistant Management Accountant to their busy team. The role is offered on a permanent basis and offers amazing benefits such as generous holidays and pension contribution. 
Duties:

* Assisting the head of finance with preparation of monthly management accounts and annual financial statements
* Providing budgetary analysis
* Supporting the development of accounting functions and processes
* Liaising with budget holders frequently to review year-end forecasts
Experience:

* Experience working as a finance officer in a busy environment
* Previous duties linked to management accounts
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
* Great attention to detail and ability to work proactively
* AAT qualification (desired) 
* Experience working within the public sector (desired)
