Job Description:
We are currently seeking a proactive, forward thinking and ambitious Transport Planner who is committed to continual improvement and has a desire to progress their career.
The role will involve supporting the daily operations within Transport and enhancing delivery efficiency and cost effectiveness.
Key Duties
* Ensuring efficient and effective planning of all
* Ensuring efficient and effective stock transfer between business
* Assisting in operational support and coordination as required. Including supervision of staff
* Communicating effectively with drivers and warehouse
* Managing accuracy during loading.
* Supervising stock rotation and stock
* Ensuring compliance with safety and environmental
* Analysing routes with a view to making
Skills/Abilities
* Competent user of Microsoft 365, particularly Excel
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise at all levels
* Meticulous planner with excellent organisational
* Good problem-solving and analytical
* Confident using own initiative and working as an integral team member.
* Detail orientated.
* CPS certificate in Transport Management desirable.
