Job Description:
Electrical Installation Lecturer

As an experienced Electrical Installations lecturer you will be required to teach learners across all modes of attendance and across all the levels of Electrical (this includes level 1 up to L3 and apprentices). You will be required to teach the following types of programmes:
• 16-18-year-old Study Programmes
• 19 plus learners who are on Study programmes
• Apprenticeships
The suitable candidate will provide an excellent learning experience to ensure the individual learner gains the appropriate skills in readiness for further study, employment and an or an apprenticeship.
Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate will hold Electrical Installations qualification or equivalent qualification or must have a minimum of 5 years industrial experience; you must hold a full teaching qualification or be working towards the teaching qualification. To be successful in this role, you’ll need to have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be able to effectively motivate and inspire others.  You’ll also have exceptional organisational skills combined with good IT knowledge and sound administration skills.

Rate: £32,787 - £40, 306 per annum + £3,000 allowance
The successful Electrical Installation Lecturer will have the following skills and qualifications, or be willing to work towards:
* Teaching qualification i.e. AET, PTLLS, PGCE, certificate in education
* Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Electrical Installation
* Ability to manage challenging behaviour.
* Experience interacting with 16–19-year-olds in education or apprentice setting.
* Level 2 or equivalent in English and Maths
* Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
* Current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through Reed Compliance
