Job Description:
Due to a period of unrivalled and sustained growth, this top10 professional services firm is looking to recruit a Company Secretarial Manager to manage a team and deliver compliance and advisory work to clients.
As a Company Secretarial Manager in the Business Services team, you will work closely with other teams (such as Corporate Insolvency lnsolvency, Tax, Forensics and Accounts) and have responsibility for:
* Advising staff on all aspects of company secretarial work.
* Delivering advisory work for clients (for example within Corporate Simplification and projects related to incorporating companies).
* Conducting rigorous project and financial management on all projects.
* Supervising and mentoring junior members of staff (4 direct reports in the office).
* Liasing with and supporting Company Secretarial Managers and staff in other offices as necessary.
* Taking ownership of all aspects of service delivery from client take on to completion of a job ensuring that all assignments to a high quality and within agreed timescales.
* Proactively contributing to the management of all company secretarial business development activity – pricing new opportunities, production of proposals and collaborating on the day-to-day management of the pipeline of opportunities.
Candidates must be qualified (CGI/formerly ICSA) and possess experience in a managerial position firm in a professional services firm or a dedicated company secretarial provider (the role involves delivery to and management of a high volume of clients so the consulting/professional services mindset is critical). You will also be able to demonstrate evidence of managing and developing staff – co-ordinating staff projects, mentoring, counselling and appraising.
