A highly acquisitive, fast growing private equity backed business are looking to newly appoint a European Finance Director reporting into the Group CFO. This position will manage a large international team and will oversee the day to day running of the European finance teams, while getting involved with various projects including an ERP implementation and a team restructure.
Required in order to succeed in the role:
* Qualified accountant - ACA or ACCA
* Strong technical background and knowledge
* Experience in a European/international finance environment in a lead role
* Experience consolidating results across an international territory
* Well acquainted with complex businesses going through periods of change
* Experience managing transformations and change management programmes, including system implementations
* Able to lead, develop, and motivate a cross-functional, international finance team
* A proactive, independent individual who will bring perspective and knowledge
Desirable but not essential:
* Private equity experience would be beneficial
* A good understanding of international tax
This will be a largely remote role although there will be a need for European travel.
