Tradewind is currently seeking a committed Learning Support Assistant for a lovely secondary school in Altrincham!
Position: Learning Support Assistant
Location: Altrincham
Contract Type: Full-Time, Temporary to Permanent
Pay: £85 - £100 per day
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing tailored support to students at KS3, KS4, and those with special educational needs (SEN). Your responsibilities will include:
* Offering personalised one-to-one support to address individual learning needs
* Assisting teaching staff in delivering high-quality education and collaborate with teachers to deliver small group instruction
* Cultivating a positive and inclusive learning environment
* Supporting students’ emotional and social development
Requirements:
* Child-based work experience, Learning support assistant or teaching assistant experience is desirable
* Experience supporting students with SEND
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong UK Curriculum knowledge
* Commitment to supporting student development and well-being
* Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable), and Professional references checks
