We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Design Technology Teacher to join our secondary team. This role offers the chance to make a significant impact in a ’Good’ rated school that is on the path to ’Outstanding’. The successful candidate will be teaching across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with potential opportunities to teach Key Stage 5.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Delivering engaging and inspiring lessons in Design Technology, Engineering, and Hospitality and Catering at Key Stage 4.
* Offering Product Design at Key Stage 5.
* Contributing to the development and success of the technology department.
* Aiming for excellent results and continuous improvement within the department.
* Engaging in the wider school community and contributing to extracurricular activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) is highly desirable.
* Experience teaching Design Technology, Engineering, Hospitality and Catering, or Product Design is advantageous.
* A passion for technology and its role in pupil development.
* A commitment to professional development and a drive to strive for outstanding teaching.
