Job Description:
Empowering Learning is seeking a Teacher of Design Technology for a happy and successful school near Lincoln with a clear mission and agreed beliefs that are shared across the school community. They are focused on achieving strong academic outcomes through a rounded education that prepares their learners for life. Design and Technology is a valued subject and is fully support by senior leaders.
* The department has recently undergone a significant renovation and learners and staff are fortunate to have extremely well-resourced facilities.
* Learners have access to a fully equipped workshop with a dedicated CAD/CAM suite comprising of 2 x laser cutters and 4 x 3D printers.
* The department is forward-thinking and they encourage the use of new technologies at GCSE. Design and Technology is a thriving subject and the school are constantly looking for new ideas to innovate our curriculum and ensure learners experience a relevant and modern curriculum.
All teaching staff have a generous allocation of non-contact time: typically 15%, which is significantly higher that the legal minimum requirement. This ensures that staff have the time to carry out their role to the highest possible standard, whilst having a genuine work-life balance.

To be successful in your Teacher of Design Technology application you will need to:
* Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Have excellent knowledge of the Design Technology curriculum.
* This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS disclosure, Overseas Police Clearance (if applicable) and professional reference checks.
* Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained.
* You must have the legal right to work in the UK.
