Position: Full-time, Permanent.
Salary: A competitive salary of up to£40k per year
Location: Lichfield
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Architectural Technician to join their award-winning team of RIBA chartered architects. The practice has a broad portfolio, working across diverse sectors such as commercial, industrial, residential, education, retail, healthcare, leisure, urban planning, heritage, conservation, and ecclesiastical throughout the UK.

Role Overview:
This is an excellent opportunity to grow within a well-established architectural firm and contribute significantly across all RIBA stages, particularly within the commercial and conservation sectors. The successful candidate will play a key role in leading projects from concept to completion, working collaboratively with both internal teams and external consultants.
Essential Experience and Skills:
- A minimum of 7 years’ post-qualification experience in the UK construction industry.
- Proficiency in Revit is essential; knowledge of AutoCAD and NBS Create is desirable.
- Strong skills in construction detailing and a solid understanding of current UK Building Regulations.
- Excellent presentation and communication abilities.
- Previous experience in residential projects is preferred but not essential.
- Membership in the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists (MCIAT) would be an advantage, though not mandatory. Opportunities for training and accreditation are available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce accurate technical and detailed working drawings.
- Coordinate effectively with consultants to ensure seamless project execution.
- Lead new projects, ensuring compliance with UK Building Regulations.
- Attend and chair site and design team meetings.
- Support and mentor junior staff members within the team.
