Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician (Mechanical Bias)

South Wales-Commutable from Newport, Magor, Cwmbran, Cardiff, Caerphilly, Caldicot, Pontypool, Chepstow, Avonmouth, Bristol

£48K plus overtime, enhanced pension, private medical, career progression, free parking.

4 on, 4 off days/nights, 7-7.

Are you an experienced Mechanically Biased Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer or Technician, looking for a well paid permanent role with a household name in the FMCG sector?

The position will include planned and reactive maintenance plus fault diagnosis in a fast paced environment.

The position is in the manufacturing sector but you will also be working on utilities equipment such as water treatment, pumping systems, boilers and CO2 equipment.

The Role
Full time permanent, shift based position with a large FMCG Manufacturer. Fault diagnosis, planned and reactive maintenance on machinery and utilities equipment. Input into continuous improvement of the plant
The Person
Qualification (NVQ3) and/or apprentiship in Mechanical Engineering Working experience in a mechanically biased Multi Skilled maintenance position, including fault diagnosis and ideally PLC fault findingExperience of working on utilities equipment such as pumping systemsWilling to work shifts/nights with a UK driving licence.
