About the Role
Working for a specialist Lloyd’s Broker to join its expanding operation as a Business Development Executive. Our client specialises in UK Professional & Financial Risks within the London Insurance Market.
Whether you have just started a career in sales, or you’ve already discovered your passion for sales and are looking to progress to the next step, then this is the perfect role for you. The client will provide you with the fundamental sales skills, product knowledge and understanding of their clients that you need to get off to the best start but you must be self-motivated and be able to independently get to grips with the role.
You will be responsible for calling a mixture of warm and cold leads to attempt to convert them to Leads for the New Business broking team.
They are offering a basic starting salary of £25,000 with the ability to increase your overall earnings with commisson. The role has realistic targets, uncapped commission, with full training and support provided, which makes it an ideal role for an ambitious individual looking for a career in the insurance industry and with the opportunity to progress in other areas of the business.
The business environment is extremely friendly and social with excellent rewards for meeting targets such as team lunches at fine London restaurants and afternoons out of the office for hitting quarterly targets.
The role will be full-time time offering flexible working (3 days office based Tues-Thurs with an early finish on a Thursday) with the company providing full systems setup (laptop and key software).
Key Skills & Experience
Minimum six months sales experience
Punctuality, reliability with a hard working attitude
Someone with excellent communication skills who enjoys talking on the phone
Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
Good PC Skills with ability to learn new systems quickly e.g. Microsoft Office, Excel
Great communication skills including active listening
