Job Description:
Senior Credit Analyst - Asset Finance
£55,000 - £65,000 + 20% Bonus + 12 Pension + Life Cover + Private HealthCare
Hybrid working - 3 days in office
The Role:
Underwriting and evaluation of credit and transaction risks through completion of credit applications for new and existing customers in UK and Ireland.
Responsibilities:
* Analyse and underwrite transactions under own authority for all types of assets
* Analysis of customer creditworthiness (via financial data, credit and sector reports etc. including customer visit).
* Risk evaluation of the deal structure (including collaterals, asset values, evaluation of exposure, etc.)
* Preparation of credit applications for deals above own authority
* Pre-qualification of deals with Sales
* Full compliance with all Risk Policies
* Adherence to decision making according to the authority matrix
* Compliance with rating systems
* Risk Reporting
* Organise and maintain credit files
* Novation and reschedule decisions
The Candidate:
* Work under own initiative
* Demonstrate highest level of integrity and professionalism
* Strong analytical skills
* Ability to work accurately under pressure
* Ability to interact maintaining good lines of communication with all internal colleagues (especially Sales) as well as external customers
* To work within agreed policies and procedures and with due regard to Equal Opportunities and Health and Safety considerations
* Prepared to work as necessary at busy periods.
* Compliance with KYC and AML requirements on an ongoing basis and report any issues as required
