SUMMARY:
A role as a team leader of a multi-skilled maintenance team , responsible for planned and reactive maintenance of HBS, Arrivals and central search systems at LLA covering 24 hours a day 365 days a year, assisting the maintenance manager and sharing on call support to cover holidays and sickness.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
Technical
* Fault finding skills on automated PLC controlled conveyor systems /sortation systems
* On call to support to cover Holidays and sickness
Time Management
* Able to manage on shift time effectively
Communication
* Good communication skills with customer, reporting and maintenance record keeping via PPM management system.
* Helping with preparing fault and monthly system reports.
* Point of contact for Apprentcies
Team Working
* Working as part of a team with 2 maintenance technicians per 12 hour shift
Cross Functional Working
* Continually build relationships with internal stakeholders to achieve the successful completion of projects
* Point of contact for LLA baggage system manager if maintenance manager is unavailable.
Health & Safety
* Always follow and promote Group and Company policies and procedures
* Ensure all Company equipment and personal PPE properly used

* Checkable 5 year work history
* DBS
* Wide ranging technical background
* Previous experience in all or some of the following areas: Delete if N/A * Automation
* Mechanical/material handling
* Conveyor systems
* Control systems
* Electrical power systems
Qualifications
NVQ Level 3 / City and Guilds Electrical / Mechanical or Equivalent
