Job Description:
A major hedge fund client I’m working with is looking for a UI/UX designer to join their team based in London on a long term contract.
This role will be working on a hybrid policy 2-3 days a week in the office, where the successful candidate will be paid £650-850Per Day subject to experience
?????????Role Description
* role within the FX Derivatives and Risk team to build and extend FX Options and Risk frontend application suite.
Responsibilities
* Design and develop user interfaces for React applications using HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
* Create wireframes and mockups to visualize UI design ideas.
* Build prototypes to communicate user experience designs
* Understand project requirements, user personas and business processes to inform elegant and functional UI/UX designs.
Requirements
* Proficiency in UI/UX design tools (Figma etc) and web development (HTML and CSS)
* Familiarity with front-end web development technologies and frameworks such as JavaScript and React.
* Strong portfolio showcasing previous UI/UX design work for web applications.
* Experience with version control systems (Git, bitbucket)
* Candidate must be a strong team player with excellent communication skills.
* Experience in designing UI applications for finance.
Nice to have
* Hedgefund / Investment bank experience
* Good knowledge and experience using canvas for creating dynamic and interactive elements within web applications.
