Job Description:
Meraki Talent is currently recruiting a Payroll Assistant on a full-time permanent basis for one of our client based in Glasgow.
Position Overview: As a Payroll Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll activities. * Process and manage the full payroll cycle for employees, including data entry, verification, and distribution of payslips or electronic transfers.
* Maintain accurate records of employee attendance, leave, and overtime to calculate accurate payments.
* Collaborate with HR to address payroll-related inquiries and discrepancies.
* Prepare and submit reports for management, including payroll summaries and tax filings.
* Stay informed about changes in payroll regulations and contribute to the development and improvement of payroll processes.
Qualifications:
* Previous experience in payroll administration or a related field.
* Knowledge of payroll software and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
* Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations governing payroll.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
* Strong organizational and time-management skills.
* Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
