Warehouse Manager
Burnley
£35,000 + Benefits
Role Profile
We are recruiting for our client, who is an established & growing business with multiple locations across the UK. Reporting into the senior leadership team, you will oversee a warehouse team and ensure day to day KPI’s are met. You will work Monday to Friday day shift, with some flexibility required in line with business needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Drive and maintain efficient productivity across the Warehouse function, ensuring all KPI’s are adhered to.
* Execute daily workload including labour resource planning and collaborate with stock control team.
* Liaise with relevant customer base including virtual and face to face meetings to update on progress.
* Promote safety-first culture across the Warehouse function and engage with H&S team to address any issues.
* Collaborate with other Warehouse Managers in the network to share best practice and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
* Manage people challenges including disciplinaries, absence management, RTW’s.
* Maintain WMS, ensuring data is accurate and invoices to customers are raised appropriately.
Key Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in a Warehouse management role, with history of leading teams and developing people.
* Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal.
* Experience using various WMS and optimising system usage.
* Background working in a 3PL/ customer-facing environment would be highly advantageous.
* High attention to detail with focus on quality of work.
* Ability to work in a high-pressured, fast paced environment with changing priorities.
