Job Title: Maintenance Fitter
Salary: Circa £54,000
Location: Eye
Working hours: 4 on 4 off days and nights
Benefits: 25 days Holiday + bank holidays + overtime (Monday - Saturday x1.5 & Sunday x2)

The Company:
My client, a leading manufacturing company supplying to the construction industry, is looking for an experienced maintenance fitter to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.

The ideal candidate would be a competent maintenance fitter with experience in heavy industry environments. Must have a positive attitude, be able to show initiative and enjoy challenges. You will make sure the right spare components are fitted for a safe operation, complete planned maintenance, carry out fault finding and repairs. You will work well as part of a small team and independently.

Personal requirement;

* NVQ Several years experience working within a manufacturing environment
* Must have completed an onsite apprenticeship or hold a level 3 NVQ or above in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
* Excellent team player with strong communication skills
* Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
* Previous experience with the following equipment would be highly beneficial; hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyor systems, motors, gear boxes, bonding machines.
