The Opportunity
Our client is a leading independent financial advisory firm who are highly recognised and respected within the sector, offering a comprehensive financial planning and investment management service to high net-worth individuals, charities, and trusts. They are now looking to recruit a talented, technically competent Senior Paraplanner, to bolster their support to their Advisers. This role will be supporting one of the highest achieving Advisers/Planners therefore this represents a highly visible role in the team. Primarily the successful candidate will be passionate about delivering an excellent service both to their Adviser and to their HNW city-based clients. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your knowledge of technical cases and career path as well as progress your career into Management or Financial Advising.
Responsibilities:
As a Senior Paraplanner supporting the Advisor, the primary duties will include (but not limited to):
Assisting with the preparation of outstanding financial advice on investments, pension planning, inheritance tax and estate planning, in an efficient manner
Supporting Client Relationship Managers and Senior Financial Planners/Financial Planners to execute client relationship strategy.
Supporting the Relationship Managers and Senior Financial Planners/Financial Planners, to maintain strong relationships with clients, driving engagement and positive client outcomes.
Ensuring that the work undertaken complies with the regulatory and legal environment.
About you
As an experienced, technically competent Paraplanner you will possess most of the following:
• Essentially possess previous experience within a fast-paced IFA Practice
• High analytical capability and good communication skills.
• Level 4 diploma qualified and ideally studying to obtain chartered status.
• A good knowledge of Microsoft Office
• The ability to work within defined business processes .
• The ability to multi-task and prioritise your workload, ensuring you are managing the advisers’ expectations.
• The ability to use own initiative and to work both autonomously and within a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skill
