Embedded Software Engineer £45k - £55k - Semi remote - Cambridge
Hexwired Recruitment has partnered with a well established and expanding Solutions provider based in the heart of Cambridge. They are now seeking Embedded Software Engineers with excellent academics to work on a range of innovative solutions within Wireless and cellular tech.
The company expanding due to recent successes in the market, you will be working with some of the biggest names in their industry, delivery world changing products that will be used globally. As the company work across a number of industries, they are open to engineers from a range of technical backgrounds, with strong academics.
You will be working as part of a close knit team of like minded engineers, working on bleeding edge tech used in a range of industries, for companies across the globe. This is an Embedded Software engineer role working closely with research and hardware engineers. The role will be a mix of remote and onsite.
Key Skills:
* Masters or PhD in Maths, Physics, Electronics or similar (Russell Group Universities preferred)
* 2+ years commercial C/C++ experience but recent grads also considered
* Knowledge or experience of Linux or Embedded Linux is highly desirable
* An interest, experience or appreciation for cellular devices is preferred (RF, IOT, Telco etc)
* Exposure to simulation and modelling using DSP’s, Matlab or Simulink is highly desirable but not essential.
