We have an exciting opportunity for a Teacher of Art/Textiles/DT to join a wonderful school based in Hillingdon/Uxbridge, West London School.
The successful candidate will teach art, textiles and/or DT across all secondary years up to year 11. GCSE courses are a popular choice based within a growing and well-resourced department.
September 2024 start
The role - Textiles Teacher Key Stages 3-4
Full time £150 - £255 per day (Pay to scale)

Requirements
To be considered for this Textiles Teacher position, you will:
Hold a Qualified Teacher Status
Will plan and prepare lessons to a high standard, using a variety of delivery methods to facilitate student learning

Create a supportive learning environment whereby all students can achieve their individual potential
Asses, record and report on students’ progress and attainment, whilst maintaining accurate and appropriate records
Be confident in preparing students for examinations, both internal and external, including the recording of accurate data
Manage behaviour appropriately in line with the School Behaviour Policy.
