Job Description:
Berry Recruitment are NOW hiring for a committed and experienced Credit Controller to work for a large manufacturing organisation based in Wallingford, Oxfordshire.
Role: Credit Controller
Salary: £28,000 Per Annum
Location: Wallingford, Oxfordshire
Hours: Monday - Friday 08:30 - 17:30
Key Responsibilities of the Credit Controller:
* Manage Accounts Receivable
* Manage incoming payments.
* Credit Control management including blocked orders.
* Manage debt recovery of creditors.
* Managing credit limits and Credit Insurance
* A/R Reconciliation including of intercompany accounts (Quarterly IC service Invoice)
* Assist in audit / year-end financial closure.
* Participate in possible projects.
* Ad hoc & other such duties as required.
Main Objectives:
* Manage and oversee Credit Control
* Oversee Credit Insurance
* Manage and oversee Accounts Receivable incl. new accounts set up.
* Manage incoming payments.
* Provide support at month end as required.
About you:
* High level of numeracy skills and a high attention to detail
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Enjoys working towards deadlines.
* Computer literate with good MS office skills
* SAP experience desirable
* Understanding of UK accounting principles including VAT
Interpersonal Skills:
* Ability to build rapport with stakeholders
* Excellent in written & oral communication
Experience:
* Previous experience within a Credit Control role.
