Job Description:
Are you passionate about fostering real-world opportunities for college students? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to make a meaningful impact as a Work Experience and Industrial Placements Coordinator at our college.

Purpose of Job:
As our Work Experience and Industrial Placements Coordinator, you’ll play a pivotal role in developing and implementing our college’s work experience and placement programmes. Working closely with curriculum teams and external partners, you’ll ensure students have access to valuable, hands-on experiences aligned with our strategic objectives.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with curriculum teams and external partners to facilitate work experience and placement opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with relevant checks, risk assessments, and permissions for student placements.
- Monitor student progress during placements and provide necessary support.
- Uphold the college’s mission, values, and policies, including Equality and Diversity, Safeguarding, and Health and Safety.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and data protection compliance.

Particular to the Post:
- Liaise with industry partners to develop and maintain placement opportunities.
- Coordinate placement activities and administrative processes.
- Support the smooth running of T Level Industry Placements.
- Maintain accurate records and databases of employer information.
- Foster positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with other college teams to promote holistic educational offerings.

Person Specification:
- Proven experience in delivering work experience opportunities for young people.
- Knowledge of government policies related to T Levels and industry placements.
- Demonstrated success in employer engagement activities.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and IT skills.
- Commitment to Equality & Diversity and Safeguarding principles.
