Interim Management Accountant | Fast-Growth Luxury Goods Business | London
Harmonic are delighted to be working exclusively with a luxury goods scaleup to find an Interim Management Accountant for a 15-week contract.
The Client
Our client is a growing international B2B luxury goods business, with a growing D2C presence in the UK market. They have experienced exceptional growth over the last several years and are on track for 30% YoY growth, so this is a really exciting time to join the team.
Reporting to the Head of Finance, our client is looking for a qualified Interim Management Accountant to join their team whilst the present incumbent goes on sabbatical. Overseeing the day-to-day running of the finance team, you shall be responsible for the end-to-end management accounting process and supporting the budget and forecasting process during the tenure of the contract. This role will be supported by a seasoned Finance Assistant who covers the accounting up to trial balance.
The culture of the business is friendly and collaborative, with great flexibility on offer. Currently Monday and Friday are work-from-home days with mid-week spent in stunning London Victoria offices which are easily accessible.
Responsibilities
* Preparing Management Accounts and delivery of these to key internal stakeholders (Marketing / Sales / Finance / Ops & Supply Chain teams).
* Conducting variance analysis of budget vs actual
* Preparing and posting monthly journals
* Stock reconciliation
* Leading month end and sales reporting
* Overseeing Finance Assistant’s activities
What we need to see (essential)
* Qualified Accountant (ideally ACA or ACCA or CIMA)
* Experience in stock-based businesses.
* Fantastic communication skills
* Passionate about working with Scale-ups!
What we need to see (bonus):
* Experience using Sage 50 would be beneficial
* Experience in Retail/ Food & Beverage/ E-commerce Industries
* Fast moving supply chain experience
Location: London (Hybrid)
Day rate: £260-£300 per day
Contract Hours: 32 Hours / 9 AM to 5 PM
