Financial Accountant - Excellent first time or second move into industry - Great career development and mentorship available

A rapidly growing, manufacturing organisation is looking to appoint a Financial Accountant to join their team. This position has arisen due to promotion and is a fantastic opportunity for an ACA qualified accountant. Due to the scope and opportunity within the role; our client will consider either a first time mover from practice or someone making their second industry move for this Financial Accountant position. 

The Role

The Financial Accountant’s duties will include:
* Performance of the procedures required for the month end (6 working days)
* Core accounting procedures and journal processing
* Balance sheet reconciliations 
* VAT Return preparations and co-ordination with the external corporation tax team 
* Principal contact for the external audit
* Reviewing business performance and drive for continuous improvement
* Preparation and review of rebates 
* Assisting the financial controller with necessary projects and report preparation 

The Person

The requirements for the Financial Accountant role are:
* Qualified ACA
* Straight from practice or a second time mover 
* Ability to work to tight deadline
*  A team player who has the ability to work with staff at different levels
* Curious and ambitious approach 
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to communicate clearly and confidently at a senior level
* Excellent excel proficiency and ability to analyse large volumes of data
