We are seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee all warehouse activities, ensuring efficient processes and maximising productivity. The role involves supervising employees, coordinating logistical processes, ensuring the quality of goods, and preparing relevant documents. The ideal candidate will be an effective team leader with a proven track record in optimising warehousing processes.
Day-to-day of the role: * Coordinate and oversee the receiving, storing, and dispatching of goods, including recording shipment transactions.
* Ensure maintenance standards and compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Supervise warehouse operatives to ensure performance meets company standards.
* Control and maintain inventory and stock levels.
* Sustain and report on the serviceability of company vehicles and material-handling equipment.
* Work effectively alongside other departments and report to the Operations Manager.
* Maintain an organised and efficient warehouse environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications: * Previous experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or as an experienced Warehouse Operative.
* Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations and management.
* Excellent time management skills and the ability to delegate effectively.
* Strong leadership and organisational skills.
Preferences: * Relevant qualifications in warehouse, logistics, and health & safety.
* Forklift and driving licence.
