Reed Finance are currently assisting a long established client in the Crawley area in the recruitment of a Management Accountant to join their team on an initial 1 year contract. As Management Accountant you will support the Finance Manager in the day-to-day operations of our e-commerce business. This role is crucial for ensuring the accuracy of policy reports, processing ledgers, and assisting in the production of monthly Profit and Loss statements. 
Day-to-day duties of the Management Accountant:
* Production of monthly management accounts.

* Process accruals and prepayments, fixed assets and depreciation and month end journals.
* Reconcile and process monthly underwriter and partner payments.
* Reconcile and process monthly supplier payments.
* Support production of weekly forecast.
* Balance sheet reconciliations.
* Oversee aged debtors and resolving any queries.
* Oversee aged creditors and resolving any queries.
* Processing Supplier Invoices on to SAGE X3.
* Support production of quarterly rolling forecast.
* Monthly expense reviews with department heads.
* Any other Ad-hoc work required by the finance manager.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Proficient in the practical application of spreadsheets.
* Strong mathematical background and analytical skills.
* Experience working within a finance environment.
* Ability to multitask and manage one’s own workload.
* Problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve issues.
* Self-motivated with the initiative to work to regulated standards and timescales.
* Competent in using finance software, preferably SAGE X3.
