Our client, a well-established engineering and manufacturing company supplying specialised equipment to global industrial markets, is seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to join their growing team. In this hands-on electrical role, you will be responsible for wiring a wide range of machines and control panels, working from detailed electrical drawings and cable schedules.


The responsibilities of the Electrical Technician include but are not limited to:
*Wiring electrical control panels and machinery using detailed electrical drawings and schematics.
*Installing and wiring components including PLCs (no programming required), drives, motors, relays, transformers, sensors and HMIs.
*Carrying out on-machine wiring, including trunking, cable tray, junction boxes and field devices.
*Supporting electrical fault-finding activities during build, test and commissioning stages.
*Working collaboratively with the wider engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery.


Skills, Experience & Key Candidate Attributes of the Electrical Technician:
*Fully time-served electrician with experience in control panel wiring, machine wiring and three-phase systems.
*Ability to read and follow electrical drawings, schematics and cable schedules confidently.
*Strong fault-finding skills and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
*Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
*18th Edition qualification is advantageous but not essential.


Hours: 8:00am – 4:30pm Monday – Thursday, 8:00am – 1:30pm Friday
