Job Description:
Our client, a well-established company in the scientific sector, is looking for a driven and commercially minded Business Development Manager to accelerate growth, build strong client relationships and open new revenue opportunities. The responsibilities of the Business Development Manager include but are not limited to:
*Generate new business opportunities through targeted outreach, networking, market research and strategic prospecting.
*Build and manage a high-quality sales pipeline, progressing opportunities through to close with confidence and consistency.
*Deliver compelling pitches, proposals and solutions tailored to client needs, ensuring a consultative and value-driven approach.
*Maintain accurate forecasting, CRM discipline and sales reporting to support commercial planning and performance visibility.
*Represent the business at events, meetings and industry activities, strengthening brand presence and opening new commercial channels.


Skills, Experience & Key Candidate Attributes of the Business Development Manager:
*Proven experience in business development, sales or consultative account growth.
*A proactive, self-starting mindset with the ability to identify opportunities, overcome objections and drive deals forward.
*Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a confident and professional approach to client interaction.
*Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple opportunities, prioritise effectively and maintain CRM accuracy.
*Commercially astute, target-driven and motivated by achieving revenue goals and delivering measurable results.
