Business Analyst (Public Sector)

Role Overview:
*Location: Central London/Hybrid (3 days per week in the office)
*Package: £55,000- £68,000pa & benefits
*Industry: Public Sector Consulting
What You’ll Be Doing:
*Analyse business problems and opportunities, delivering actionable solutions using Agile/SAFe methodology
*Challenge and refine business requirements through strong influencing and negotiation skills
*Work closely with client SMEs, stakeholders, and suppliers to ensure viable, benefits-focused solutions
*Support change management by assessing readiness and impacts on people, processes, and systems
*Apply data insights to inform process and solution design
*Manage BA and project activities, including risks, issues, deliverables, and planning
*Contribute to practice growth by building client relationships and supporting development initiatives
Main Skills Needed:
*Minimum of 3 years working in the UK Public Sector directly or via a Consultancy.
*Eligibility for Security Clearance is required, due to the nature of projects.
*Strong analytical techniques: business requirements documentation, process and data modelling, GAP/SWOT analysis, cost/benefit analysis, traceability matrix, stakeholder mapping
*Experience with product lifecycle management, data projects, and large-scale IT transformations
*Familiarity with GDS delivery methods: Discovery, Alpha, Beta, Live
*Agile knowledge (preferably SAFe/Scrum)
*Excellent stakeholder management across complex client environments
*Core consulting skills: communication, presentation, facilitation
*Organisational and planning capabilities
