We’re partnering with a large public sector organisation to appoint experienced Change Delivery Managers across several UK locations.
The organisation is preparing to implement a new operating structure designed to improve the quality, consistency and fairness of its corporate support services. The programme will introduce standardised structures, clearer career pathways and more effective ways of working while reducing inefficiency, duplication and unnecessary costs.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced change professional to act as the local change lead, supporting teams through implementation and helping to embed the new structure successfully.
The Opportunity
As a Change Delivery Manager, you’ll take responsibility for supporting the transition to the new operating model within an assigned location.
You’ll work closely with local managers, employees, teams in other geographical areas and central programme leads to coordinate implementation activity, manage dependencies and resolve challenges as they arise.
This is a hands-on delivery role requiring strong stakeholder engagement, organisational change and problem-solving skills. You’ll ensure local requirements are understood, risks are managed effectively and progress is clearly reported to senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
You’ll play a key role in delivering the new structure by:
*Acting as the local change lead and coordinating implementation activity within your assigned location.
*Supporting the delivery of local implementation plans and ensuring key actions remain on track.
*Building strong relationships with employees, line managers, senior stakeholders and central programme teams.
*Engaging employees at all levels to build understanding, confidence and support for the change.
*Developing and delivering clear communications throughout the transition.
*Mapping existing processes and helping to establish effective new ways of working.
*Identifying local training and upskilling requirements to support employees within the new structure.
*Coordinating dependencies across teams, locations and central workstreams.
*Identifying, recording and managing risks and issues that could affect implementation.
*Working with the wider business to develop appropriate mitigations and escalating concerns through the relevant governance arrangements.
*Reviewing administrative processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
*Establishing new processes that support effective delivery under the new structure.
*Producing clear and accurate implementation reports for management and senior stakeholders.
*Responding flexibly to the specific operational requirements of the assigned location.
About You
You’ll be an experienced change professional with a strong track record of supporting organisational transformation and implementing new structures, processes or ways of working.
You will also have:
*Proven experience delivering business or organisational change within a complex environment.
*Strong project delivery skills, including the ability to coordinate plans, actions and interdependencies.
*Experience acting as a change lead or local point of contact during a transformation programme.
*Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-management skills.
*The confidence to work effectively with employees, line managers and senior leadership teams.
*Experience supporting staff engagement, communications and the adoption of new ways of working.
*Strong risk and issue-management capabilities, including appropriate mitigation and escalation.
*Experience reviewing, mapping and improving business processes.
*The ability to identify training or capability gaps and support effective upskilling.
*Strong written communication and reporting skills.
*A practical, flexible approach and the ability to respond to changing local requirements.
*The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across a wider programme team.
Experience delivering change within the public sector or another large, geographically dispersed organisation would be beneficial.
Why Apply?
This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a significant organisation-wide transformation programme and directly support the successful introduction of a new operating model.
In return, you’ll benefit from:
*A high-impact role within a major organisational change programme.
*The opportunity to lead implementation activity within a designated location.
*Exposure to a complex, geographically dispersed working environment.
*Regular collaboration with local managers, senior stakeholders and central programme leads.
*The opportunity to improve processes, strengthen service delivery and shape sustainable new ways of working.
*Roles available in Nottingham, Eastleigh, Bristol, York, Chelmsford and Canterbury.
